bebetter
Computer vision meets real-world sports coaching.
An AI-powered skiing analysis application that transforms videos into personalized technical feedback.
- SwiftUI
- YOLO
- ByteTrack
- ViTPose

01 · Context
bebetter is an AI ski-coaching product, spun out of SnowMatch. I co-founded it and I am CEO. The engineering I did is the iOS application and the path from a video of a run to technical feedback.
02 · Problem
"I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see it myself." Private lessons are expensive and hard to schedule, and sensor-based tools give you numbers without video. bebetter is a spin-off of SnowMatch that brings video feedback to every skier.
03 · My responsibilities
- Co-founded the product
- Built the iOS application in SwiftUI
- Developed the video-processing workflow
- Integrated object detection, tracking and pose estimation with YOLO, ByteTrack and ViTPose
- Developed the technical feedback
- Integrated cloud infrastructure and video uploads
- Launched the product on the App Store
04 · Architecture
A skier uploads a run. The pipeline finds them, follows them down the slope, estimates pose, and turns that into technical feedback. I built the SwiftUI app around that workflow and connected the upload path to cloud infrastructure.

05 · Technical decisions
- Detection, tracking and pose use YOLO, ByteTrack and ViTPose.
- Video upload goes through cloud infrastructure I integrated, alongside the iOS app.
- Shared video links open the bebetter web page. The in-app skill score is BB IQ.
06 · Results
Live on the App Store as BB - Sports and on bebettersport.com, which shows 160+ riders and coaching at resorts from Aspen to Whistler. The 2025 season completed 150+ video analyses, including 10 paid analyses in the first two weeks.
